Fishing and Arcade Games
Fishing games are unique because you win prizes by catching fish directly on screen. Different types of fish swim across the screen — each fish carries its own multiplier value.
How does it work?
- Cannon level: Increasing shot power also increases cost — a low-level cannon is enough for small fish.
- Fish multiplier: Common fish give smaller rewards, while boss fish bring bigger wins.
- Boss fish round: Special boss fish carry large multipliers — multiple players can attack at the same time.
Types of arcade games
- Crash game: The multiplier keeps rising — cash out at the right moment.
- Shooting game: Use quick reflexes to shoot at targets.
- Wheel/Spin: Spin a colourful wheel and rely on your luck.
- Dice game: Roll the dice with simple rules and bet on the outcome.
How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is the most important skill in cricket betting or any sports betting. 8999t uses decimal odds, which are the easiest to read.
Decimal odds — example
Say Bangladesh's odds in a Bangladesh vs India match are 1.80
Your total return is ৳900 — of which ৳500 is your original stake and ৳400 is profit.
Implied probability
1 ÷ odds × 100 = chance of winning (%). With odds of 1.80: 1 ÷ 1.80 × 100 ≈ 55.6%. This means the bookmaker considers Bangladesh's chance of winning to be around 56%.
Comparison with other formats
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳180 returned on a ৳100 bet |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit + ৳5 stake = ৳9 on a ৳5 bet |
| American (Moneyline) | -125 | ৳100 profit on a ৳125 bet |
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP (Return to Player) is the long-term average payout percentage of a game. For example, if a slot game has an RTP of 96% it means that on average ৳960 is returned to players for every ৳1,000 wagered. However, this is an average across billions of spins — the result of a single session can be much higher or lower. RTP is never a guaranteed outcome for any single play.
Knowing the general RTP range for different game categories helps you make informed decisions. Slot games typically have an RTP between 92% and 98%. Live casino Blackjack played with correct strategy can deliver an RTP of close to 99%, which is the highest among casino games. European Roulette has an RTP of around 94-97%, while Baccarat's RTP is close to 98%.
House edge is the flip side of RTP — the average advantage the casino retains. Example: a 96% RTP means a 4% house edge. This is not manipulation; it is built into the mathematics of every licensed game. In the long run the house always stays slightly ahead, so betting should be viewed as entertainment rather than a reliable source of income.
It is also worth understanding volatility or variance. High-volatility games pay out less often but the wins are larger. Low-volatility games deliver frequent smaller wins. Choose your volatility based on your bankroll and playing patience. Low-volatility games are more suitable for players with a limited bankroll.
